Advanced Security and Data Protection
The BP-71C36 incorporates multiple layers of industry-leading security to safeguard sensitive business information. During start-up, the device automatically checks the BIOS firmware for anomalies. If a problem is detected, the start-up process is halted and an automatic BIOS recovery is initiated to maintain system integrity.
The MFP also integrates with Microsoft Entra ID, enabling organisations to securely manage user authentication and control device access.
Additional security features include firmware self-recovery, whitelisting and a built-in Trusted Platform Module (TPM), ensuring documents and data remain protected. Optional anti-malware protection from Bitdefender provides an additional layer of defence for the device, network and stored information.
Collaboration and Mobile Connectivity
A built-in connector for Microsoft Teams enhances collaboration by allowing users to print from or scan directly to Teams channels from the device control panel.
With single sign-on functionality, users can easily connect their mobile devices via Wi-Fi, Apple AirPrint, Bluetooth, NFC or QR code, providing seamless access to enterprise workflows and printing capabilities from wherever they are working.
Intuitive and Easy to Use
A motion sensor automatically wakes the device from sleep mode when a user approaches, ensuring it is ready for immediate use.
Communication lamps clearly indicate the MFP’s status, while the 10.1-inch tiltable colour LCD touchscreen offers intuitive smartphone-style controls. This user-friendly interface makes it easy to access productivity features and manage tasks quickly.
High-Speed Productivity and Scanning
The BP-71C36 delivers print and copy speeds of up to 36 pages per minute in both colour and black and white. Toner and paper can be replaced without interrupting the print job, helping maintain high productivity.
Scanning performance is equally impressive. The built-in 300-sheet Duplex Single Pass Feeder (DSPF) can scan double-sided documents at speeds of up to 300 images per minute. A double-feed detection feature automatically stops the scan if multiple sheets are fed simultaneously, helping prevent document errors.

A standard Print Release feature allows users to securely release print jobs from the most convenient MFP on the network.
An extensive range of finishing options—including folding, hole punching, saddle stitching, and manual or staple-free stapling—adds flexibility and allows businesses to produce professional-quality documents in-house.
Consistent Colour Output
The My Favourite Colour Tone feature provides 11 preconfigured colour palettes, enabling users to adjust colour output and match the results of previous devices when upgrading equipment.

The BP-71C36 has been designed with sustainability in mind. Up to 50% recycled plastics are used in the base unit, and cardboard packaging helps reduce plastic waste.
