Advanced Security
The BP-71C31 includes multiple layers of industry-leading security to protect systems, data, and documents. During start-up, the device checks for any anomalies in the BIOS firmware. If an issue is detected, start-up is stopped and the system automatically initiates BIOS recovery.
The device also integrates with Microsoft Entra ID, allowing organisations to implement secure user authentication. Additional security features include whitelisting, self-recovery firmware, and a Trusted Platform Module (TPM). Optional Bitdefender anti-malware software adds an extra layer of protection for the device, data, and network.
Seamless Collaboration
A built-in Microsoft Teams connector enables users to print from or scan directly to Teams channels from the control panel, helping teams collaborate more efficiently.
With single sign-on capability and mobile connectivity via Wi-Fi, AirPrint, Bluetooth, NFC, or QR code, users can easily access enterprise workflows and print from wherever they are working.
Easy to Use
A motion sensor automatically wakes the device from sleep mode when a user approaches. Communication lamps clearly display the MFP’s status, while the 10.1-inch tiltable colour LCD touchscreen offers an intuitive smartphone-style interface for quick access to key functions.
High Productivity
The BP-71C31 delivers print and copy speeds of up to 31 pages per minute in both colour and black & white. Toner and paper can be replaced without interrupting active print jobs, helping maintain productivity.
For scanning, the built-in 300-sheet Duplex Single Pass Feeder (DSPF) scans two-sided documents at speeds of up to 300 images per minute. A double-feed detection system stops the job if multiple sheets are fed simultaneously.
Flexible Finishing
A standard Print Release function allows users to securely release print jobs from any compatible MFP on the network. Optional finishing features include folding, hole-punching, saddle stitching, and manual or stapleless stapling, giving businesses greater flexibility in document production.
Consistent Colour Output
The “My Favourite Colour Tone” feature allows users to choose from 11 preconfigured colour palettes. This helps match the output of previous machines, making it easier to replace existing devices while maintaining consistent colour results.
Environmentally Responsible Design
Sustainability is a key focus of the BP-71C31. Up to 50% recycled plastics are used in the base unit, and cardboard packaging reduces plastic waste. Harmful materials have been removed from the production process, and extended component lifespans reduce the need for service visits.
Advanced eco-technologies provide a low TEC value and reduced standby power consumption, ensuring compliance with energy regulations. A new Balance Power Saving Mode keeps power usage low while allowing the device to become operational in less than 3.5 seconds.
