The Sharp BP-71C55 is a high-performance A3 colour multifunction printer designed for busy modern offices, combining speed, security, and eco-friendly operation.
Robust Security
The BP-71C55 provides multiple layers of system and data protection. At start-up, the MFP checks the BIOS for anomalies and, if an issue is detected, automatically halts the start-up and initiates BIOS recovery. Integration with Microsoft Entra ID ensures secure user authentication and controlled device access.
Additional safeguards include firmware self-recovery, whitelisting, and a Trusted Platform Module. Optional Bitdefender anti-malware provides extra protection for your device, network, and stored data.
Collaboration and Connectivity
A built-in Microsoft Teams connector allows secure printing and scanning directly to Teams channels from the control panel. Single sign-on lets users connect mobile devices via Wi-Fi, Apple AirPrint, Bluetooth, NFC, or QR code to enterprise workflows from any location.
User-Friendly Operation
A motion sensor wakes the device from sleep mode when a user approaches. Communication lamps show device status, while the 10.1” tiltable colour LCD touchscreen provides intuitive, smartphone-style navigation for all functions.
High-Speed Output and Scanning
Print and copy at up to 55 ppm in colour and black & white. Toner and paper can be replaced without interrupting jobs. The 300-sheet Duplex Single Pass Feeder (DSPF) scans two-sided documents at up to 300 ipm, with double-feed detection for reliable operation.
Versatile Finishing Options
The Print Release function lets users securely release documents from the most convenient MFP on the network. Finishing options include folding, punching, saddle stitching, and manual or stapleless stapling for professional-quality output.
Colour Consistency and Sustainability
My Favourite Colour Tone offers 11 preconfigured colour profiles, allowing easy colour matching when replacing older MFPs. The BP-71C55 is designed with sustainability in mind, using up to 50% recycled plastics in the base unit and cardboard packaging to reduce waste.
Advanced eco-technologies lower energy consumption, deliver a low TEC value, and minimise standby power use. The new Balance Power Saving Mode keeps energy usage low while ensuring the MFP is ready in under 3.5 seconds.
